Brazil defeated England by 11-10 in a friendly match played on March 13th at Indaiatuba, São Paulo. Top scorers were Peter Webb, João Novaes and Olavo Novaes, with 4 goals each.
Brazil line-up mixed experienced João Novaes and Olavo Novaes with young players Eduardo D. Junqueira and Maurílio Mendonça. England squad had George Pearson, Freddie Dear, Willian Emerson and Peter Webb.

Mata Chica team lifted Copa Cidade de Indaiatuba 14-goals trophy after a 14-8 win against Itanhangá. Title match was played on April 9th, at Helvetia Polo Country Club (Indaiatuba).
Mata Chica (Beto Junqueira N., Eduardo D. Junqueira, Dudu D. Junqueira and Rafael Villela) had 5 wins in 5 games. Itanhangá (Gabriel Bueno, Rodrigo Pinheiro, Nando Pelosini and Jorge D. Junqueira) now aims for Copa Juracy Santos 18-goals with a few changes.

Sad news for Brazilian and international polo. Juracy Santos passed away at age of 58, in Monte Azul (São Paulo), on March 26th. He was in a coma since 2014 after a fall during a polo match.
Juracy Santos was an important Brazilian polo player that not only had a strong career in Brazil but also remarkable results in English polo.
Juracy was a good friend of Brazilian polo players and supporters. We wish his family our sincerely condolences.

Gold Cup runner-up for Rodrigo Andrade
Brazilian Rodrigo Andrade finished USPA Gold Cup as a runner-up after his team, Audi Polo, has lost to Dubai.
Audi (Rodrigo Andrade, Marc Ganzi, Gonzalito Pieres and Fred Mannix) lost a tough match against Dubai team (Adolfo Cambiaso, Rashid Albwardy, Alejo Taranco and Facundo Sola) by 12-11.
Teams are currently playing US Open, 26-goals tournament played until April 24th.

Brazil team will play against Peru in two friendly matches for athletes under 21. Young Brazilian squad has two different line-ups for each of these games held in Helvetia Polo Country Club.
On April 16th, players will be Eduardo D. Junqueira, Eduardo Parisi, Oswaldo Mendonça and Pedro Sampaio. For the match on April 17th, are listed Dudu Zacharias, Felipe Maia, Gito D. Junqueira and Ziza Meirelles.
Peruvian team will be the same for both games: Lorenzo Massias, Marcelo Cilloniz, Rodrigo Vieljeux and Conrado Puigrefagut.

First 18-goals championship of Brazilian season has started. Copa Juracy Santos 18-goals has started on April 10th and has its final match scheduled for April 23th.
Previously called Copa Helvetia, tournament has been renamed as a tribute for Brazilian player Juracy Santos, that unfortunately passed away last month. Nine teams joined this championship, that distribute 700 points for 30jardas Brasil Polo Ranking.
